The LX-MU700 Projector brings high brightness images, efficiency and reliability to large venues in business, higher education, houses of worship and more. This model utilizes a dual lamp system to achieve a high brightness of 7500 Lumens*1, while also enhancing reliability by helping to minimize projector downtime – which is a key factor for units installed in areas that may be challenging to access. Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, combined with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) high resolution and a high contrast ratio of up to 2100:1, helps ensure accurate color reproduction over a large projection area.

Installation Convenience

Installation is highly flexible as the LX-MU700 is compatible with seven different lenses, ranging from Ultra Wide Zoom to Ultra Long Zoom, allowing this model to be installed virtually anywhere. All lenses can be quickly installed and then removed with the simple push of a release button. For enhanced installation flexibility, the LX-MU700 also offers motorized lens shift which makes it possible to adjust the vertical and horizontal positioning of the projected image, as well as motorized zoom and focus all of which can all be easily adjusted using the included remote control. Additionally, the projector's lens memory function can be used to store up to 10 different presets with each preset storing multiple settings including lens shift, zoom and focal length.

Enhance Content (Color or Brightness)

Two interchangeable color wheels are included with the projector allowing users to optimize the content being displayed. One color wheel prioritizes brightness to achieve the full 7500 lumens*1+ that is possible with both lamps on simultaneously. This brightness priority wheel makes charts, graphs and text appear sharp, clear and bright. The second color wheel prioritizes color accuracy for rich colors with great balance of mid-tones, making it ideal for projecting highly detailed design plans in a corporate boardroom or displaying full-color artwork in an advertising presentation.

Versatile Connectivity

Connections are comprehensive including HDMI, DVI, 5BNC, DisplayPort, RJ-45 and more, as well as a built-in HDBaseT™ receiver for transmitting video, audio and control over one single Ethernet cable. For even more control, the LX-MU700 is compatible with Crestron, AMX, Extron devices as well as PJLink™.

7500 Lumens with up to 2100:1 Contrast Ratio

7500 Lumens of brightness will keep audiences engaged in a wide variety of large venue applications – from classrooms to boardrooms, houses of worship and more. This high level of brightness, combined with a contrast ratio of up to 2100:1, allows this projector to produce deep blacks and balanced whites for a high level of detail and clarity when showing both still images and video.

Dual Lamp System for Reliable Usage

Engineered for dependability, the LX-MU700 employs a dual lamp system that utilizes two independent lamps. When one lamp reaches its end of life the other can quickly be used, helping to minimize projector downtime and removing the need for the immediate changing of a lamp. This feature makes the LX-MU700 ideal for important applications where projector downtime must be virtually eliminated – a key factor for units installed in areas that may be challenging to access.

Native WUXGA Resolution (1920 x 1200)

Canon's WUXGA resolution brings bright, true widescreen display of intricately detailed HD video content and still images with outstanding color richness to large-room installations in high resolution WUXGA (1920 x 1200) at a competitive price. Content is projected without compression. Widescreen graphics, text and other visual content from laptops and desktop computers are shown in accurate proportions, just as it appears on most monitor screens.

DLP Technology

This projector utilizes Single-chip Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology which is a widely utilized projection technology that creates natural and lifelike images. The DLP technology utilizes a 6-segment color wheel along with a reflective Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) to produce video and images with high brightness. The resulting high-resolution video and images maintain the details inherent in what you are showing.

Eight Optional Interchangeable Lenses for Installation Flexibility

This projector is up to the challenges of a variety of installation applications given the wide assortment of optional lenses available to help achieve optimal image quality. The eight interchangeable lens options range from a Short Fixed Lens to an Ultra Long Zoom Lens, covering a variety of throw ratios. Screen sizes up to 500-inches are possible with this projector. Please refer to the chart below for the throw ratio, zoom ratio, lens shift and screen sizes available with each optional lens.

HDBaseT

This projector is equipped with a built-in HDBaseT receiver facilitating uncompressed HD video, audio and control signals to be transmitted over one single LAN cable with a maximum distance of 100m. This reduces complex wiring schemes used for a typical setup as well as maximizing long cable runs with minimal image quality degradation.
