Circuitry built into the Omni Rig syncs all six GoPro cameras automatically. This eliminates the need to manually find the sync point between all cameras prior to stitching the videos. One master camera controls all the others--this makes the triggering simultaneous, but more important, all video streams are perfectly synchronized, saving you valuable time in post-production.
The rigid, lightweight, multi-panel aluminum frame is compact and makes it easy to mount Omni in a wide range of shooting scenarios. The Omni rig is designed to dissipate heat and allow air to circulate, optimizing the thermal performance of all six GoPro cameras.
The included GoPro Smart Remote can be used to trigger the master camera wirelessly. In optimal conditions, you can control Omni from up to 600ft (180m). This lets you position yourself outside of the scene while Omni captures everything around it.
The six HERO4 Black cameras in Omni can be powered by their internal batteries, but you can extend recording time up to 3 hours1 with the included Switronix Hypercore-98S external battery. The included Kolor software applications complete the end-to-end VR solution. Preview your content even before offloading and stitching it with Omni Importer.2 Choose the videos you want, and Omni Importer will automatically give you an initial 360? stitch that you can use without further post-production.
