FUJIFILM X half features a unique Film Camera mode, which recreates the feeling of photographing with an old-school film camera, complete with rolls, date stamps, and the thrill of not seeing your images until the roll is done.
Select the type of film (or filter) you want to use, then pick the number of frames, and you’re ready to go. You can also burn a date stamp onto the image, as well as choosing focus and exposure modes.
Now comes the fun part! When you’ve made your choices, X half’s rear LCD switches to a display like a film camera and framing is done with the optical viewfinder. After each frame, wind the lever to make the next image.
When the roll is complete, head over to the X half app and pick the roll you want to develop. The film will now process right before your eyes, while simultaneously transferring images to your device, ready for sharing.
