Express Creativity Like Never Before

The LEGEND 970 PRO adopts the latest generation PCIe Gen5 x4 transmission interface, meeting the NVMe 2.0 standard and supporting the latest Intel and AMD platforms. It handles animation or graphic creation with unprecedented ease.

Unlimited Performance

How long do you have to wait to load a file?! The LEGEND 970 PRO features a sequential read/write speed of 14,000/11,000MB per second, which is double the performance of PCIe Gen4 SSDs and 8x faster than standard Gen3 SSDs. It is fully backward compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 platforms. Complete every task in mere seconds!

Active Cooling Makes Creation a Snap

Is overheating causing lags in your PC performance? The LEGEND 970 PRO adopts a heatsink in the shape of a double-layer extruded aluminum fin!¹ This hollow air duct diverts hot from cold air and then uses a built-in micro fan to accelerate heat discharge. This unique "active cooling" significantly reduces drive temperature compared to fanless heat sinks by up to 20%². Air cooling makes your system silky smooth!

Heatsink comes pre-installed. Please consider space available for installation before purchasing this product. Confirm whether your motherboard is equipped with an M.2 heatsink (refer to the motherboard manufacturer's instruction manual). If so, please remove before installing this product.

Heat dissipation data based solely on internal laboratory testing conditions. Actual figures may vary depending on individual software, hardware, and testing environment.

Do More with Less Hassle

Cable management is annoying and complicated installations are such a headache! The LEGEND 970 PRO's built-in fan does not require an additional power cable and the SSD is ready to use as soon as it is plugged into the M.2 slot. Simplifying complexity is the best solution.

QuiKTIPS: Active cooling is the key to stable performance

Why do we need active cooling? The heat generated by high-speed PCIe 5.0 transmission can no longer be effectively dissipated by standard heatsinks and high temperatures will affect the reading/writing speed of data. Even worse, unmitigated heat will crash the system in seconds. The LEGEND 970 PRO's active heat dissipation has been analyzed and optimized using multiple thermal simulations. It can withstand a high temperature environment while maintaining stable performance even when operating at top speed over a long period of time.

QuiKTIPS: Active cooling operation analysis

How does active cooling work? Active cooling works by using a tightly adhered heat spreader and a metal heat dissipater to transfer heat from the SSD upwards to double-layered aluminum fins. A built-in fan draws cold air from openings on the nameplate and directs it into he upper part of the aluminum fins. As hot air rises and cold air falls, hot and cold air meet, and the rotation of the fan quickly expels the heat from both sides of the aluminum fins. This design provides superior heat dissipation compared to fanless heatsinks.

High Quality Chips Conquer Oversized Files

Carefully selected 232-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory allows the LEGEND 970 PRO to feature an ultra-large capacity of up to 4TB, and the SSD uses a variety of data protection and error correction technologies to greatly improve TBW (Total Bytes Written) and durability to meet high load requirements.

Beyond Excellence

The LEGEND 970 PRO is equipped with a SLC caching algorithm and DRAM Cache Buffer. 4K random read/write can reach up to 1,800K/1,300K IOPS, improving the efficiency of multi-file processing. The SSD also adopts high-level encryption technologies such as LDPC (Low Density Parity Check Code) error correction mechanism and TCG OPAL to ensure data transmission accuracy and file security.

SSD Toolbox value-added software for real-time status monitoring

SSD Toolbox ensures users utilize the latest Firmware version for the best performance and employs Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) to understand the health and remaining lifespan of SSDs, as well as the current operating temperature and storage capacity, so that users can track of SSD status at any time.
